Hans has a Master’s in Information Technology from Technical University Twente in the Netherlands, and has worked with some of the leading global software and IT services companies, contributing to phenomenal growth, results and customer satisfaction. He has proven to be a truly global citizen, effectively leading his teams across many locations in the world. He has guided many clients and business partners in their IT and/or business transformation processes, to assure that they benefit most from a changing world. Combined with his in-depth knowledge and passion for technology, this has made him a trusted advisor at many of his relationships..

In 2002, Hans joined Infosys Technologies. As Associate Vice President for Northern Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland), he has been instrumental to the growth in the region, the acquisition of new customers, and building trusted advisor relationships with various Banks and Telco’s. Building a cross cultural team (Indian / non-Indian) in his region, he successfully used the diversity within his team to strengthen the position of Infosys.

In 2000, BEA Systems (now Oracle), originally known for its TP monitor / EAI platform TUXEDO, acquired WebLogic, the first J2EE based application server on the market. Hans was hired to build a sales organization and establish a market for the product in The Netherlands. He re-lived his early Oracle days, with phenomenal growth in revenue and people. Within two years, he had managed to acquire major Banking, Insurance and Telecommunication companies as customers, leaving behind a fully operational direct, indirect and telesales organization.

In 1996, Hans joined Texas Instruments Software (later acquired by Sterling Software), responsible for the Financial Services segment. Apart from establishing and managing one of worldwide largest users of Cool:Gen, the ING Group, Hans drove two large shared services initiatives for Mortgage at ING Group and Fortis Bank. Till today, Fortis (now ABN AMRO) is using “NINJA” as a mortgage shared services solution across their labels.

In 1987, Hans joined Oracle in The Netherlands in a pre-sales role, at a later stage moving to the Dutch management team as Business Manager Finance. During the nine years Hans worked for Oracle, he was responsible for the acquisition and management of Oracle’s largest customers in The Netherlands, such as Ministry of Defense and KPN Telecom. Hans built the Finance Unit from scratch, and transformed the business model from pure Software Sales to System Integration. Apart from Software and System Integration sales and delivery, Hans has built the foundation for what is known today as “Oracle Open Zorg”, an end-to-end solution and managed/shared service for all Health Insurance companies in The Netherlands.
